Start Painting Again

While I love to create all kinds of art, painting is the one that I tend to struggle with the most. How big should it be? What color palette should I work with? What materials should I use to create? All kinds of questions come to my head and I allow these questions to stop me sometimes form painting. Oh it's too, too messy. It's gonna take forever for it to dry. Why would someone want to purchase this. All the things that bring fear of failure start to creep in. Most often because we let it.

Instead of waiting for the right time or art supplies I am learning just to start and do it! You don't need anyones approval. Do it because you want to express yourself. Do it scared and afraid. Do it and get messy. Sometimes we are looking for other people to say encouraging word to us about US and the work that we have hidden within. We've got to go deeper and beyond people and their thoughts about what we want to create. I learnt from a very talented art agent many years ago. She said," People buy what you love to create." Just get busy creating and the buyers will come. I have lots of work on my desk for sure, but when I have a moment to myself I plan to paint up a storm of joy for me!!!
